Here is my question.  I want to deploy a working executable to another Unix based machine.  Do I install the whole development or can I pick only the files needed for a successful installation to another Unix based machine?

Hi!
It should be enough to give away the executable if it was linked statically. If you use a shared wxWidgets lib you'll have to deploy that too.
