After continuously pressiing either spin arrow, value of spin selection seems to get overwrittten with junk. | 2. #10032 Posted by: tomk 2007-01-28 14:24:02 | Hello, Michael --
Hold arrow up or down continuously and carefully watch numbers. Also Spin1 variable changes from +/-1 (which are only valid values) to -5, -20 etc
tk | 3. #10034 | Hi Tomk: I see the same behaviour. When pressing the up button SPIN1 starts at 1 but then goes to 5 and then 20. Down button starts at -1 then -5 then -25 and when it changes to -5 or -25 the value starts going back up again by +25 since the code specifically tests for -1 to decrement the value.
Reglite is 24 Jan 07, Win XP Pro.
Pete | 4. Okay - now I see it #10037 Posted by: misi01 2007-01-28 17:35:30 | I wasn't holding the spin control down - just pressing it multiple times Michael | 5. #10044 Posted by: tomk 2007-01-30 20:22:39 | Hi, Everyone --
I'm glad someone else is seeing same behavior. Something wrong since only valid values are +/-1.
Not the worst thing that ever happened but from user point of view it really looks strange.
I suspect Jeff is too busy right now to worry about it.
tk | 6. it seems to be a bug .... #10045 Posted by: misi01 2007-01-30 21:58:04 | but as I mentioned earlier, I couldn't get it to fail when clicking on the up/down options. It was only when I held the left-key down it happened.
Also at the end of the day, you CAN always enter a specific value if you want toMichael | Forum List • Thread List • Reply • Refresh • New Topic • Search • Previous • Next 1 |
