1. I've lost the Debugger/Reference window

I've tried View and clicked on the "Debugger/Reference window"

I've tried turning the "Free-floating window" off and on

I even tried re-installing everything

No luck - what can I try next?

Where does RPC keep the positioning info when it closes ?

create a text file with the following (you can copy&paste)

 windows registry editor VERSION 5.00

[hkey_current_user\software\rexxcenter\wnddebugger]
"Place"=hex:8a,00,ca,01,6b,03,68,00,3e,00
[hkey_current_user\software\rexxcenter\wnddebugger]
"State"=hex:08

then save the file and change the extension to .reg . Finally double-click and add values to registry (with RPC closed)
