Make sure you have "save backup file" under options/preferences set.
I was just editing 2 scripts (one main window, one child) and suddenly the child's window definition was written over the main one. (This is tied in with the the code shown in the source code window "losing" the script tag name at times).
Fortunately I have the backup option set,so that and the use of Exam Diff Pro allowed me to reinstate the lost code easily. If I HADN'T had the back up set, I'd have been REALLY annoyed.
Maybe it's related to running a macro that causes a shuffling of the active editor window.
3. Not that I can remember at the time.

I'm sure others will probably agree that there is a bug when debugging an application (when finished) between the ACTUAL code shown and the tagged script name.
This is similar to the fact that at times, the resource window will suddenly lose the fact that the script contains a window and/or menu. You have to either close RPC or open a new script, then flip back to your original scriptwhcih then suddenly shows the "missing" window/menu.
The point I mention in the first paragraph is more of a slight irritant - we've (?) got used to the tag and source code not hanging together. You simply select a different tag, then select the the tag for the script you REALLY want and everything's back to normal.
The original append is SERIOUS, thereof my warning append
