Message1. Dismiss example script

Am trying to understand the example above, and it's either not working correctly or I'm missing something. I'm running XP, and when I run the script in RPC or outside of that, I'm seeing the window minimized to the task bar but the window never actually closes. When I hit the OK button nothing happens either. Basically, it doesn't seem as if the POST CLOSE is kicking in. It's been a while since I did anything at home in the way of development. I HAVE installed something called NVIEW to be able to use an external monitor as well buut that's the only thing I can think of. Could someone else test the dismiss script please ? (I include the layout of my window so you can see what the nview s/w does to the window).

For me at least, it boils down to the fact that if I hit a button like the OK one in Dismiss that does a POST CLOSE, then nothing happens. If I hit the red X in top right-hand corner, the window closes okay.

Ooops - almost forgot.I'm running the latest GUI code.

I tried it at work with the older GUI DLL and noticed a couple of things

1)  The elapsed time for the window to disappear seems to be much more accurate than at home. Ie, if I time it, 5 seconds (approx) seem to elapse before the window disappears. At home, a couple of seconds could elapse after which the window was minimized (didn't mention that above) rather than being closed.
2) The POST CLOSE works fine via the OK button.

Will mention that I'm not using nview at work. Will download the DLL to home and retest there.

with a GUI DLL from (I think) 8 Aug 2008. No problem, so it certainly seems to be an error in the latest GUI.
