New Inet issues#13327 Posted by: DougA 2010-07-13 23:03:34 | I have an application I wrote several years ago, that connects to the company unix host, and downloads files. There are apx 3000 files per month, in a directory containing 60,000+ files.
I have moved to a new laptop, with XP service pack 3, with fresh install of rexx.
I'm now having a timeout problem with the InetMatchName, when I request a directory listing.
(Didn't happen on prior laptop)
This command would normally take 60+ sec to run, but it's now timing out after 30 sec.
I've tried setting the RECEIVE & RCVTIME values in InetOption, but no matter what I set, if I do a GET on those values, it returns 1242264. (Still, if that's valid, it's far more than 30 sec).
