By passing an InetOpen access of "DIRECT", I solved a problem I had regarding my FTP programs hanging at completion.
inetopen(, "DIRECT", "Mytest")
The strange thing was that the original call omitting the second argument worked in Windows XP but not in Windows 98 or 2000.
