Need help testing GypsyProxy #698 Posted by: 2002-12-08 23:32:13 | Anybody want to help test my new RQ GypsyProxy? It is a chat server, web server, anonymous http proxy server and socks 5 proxy server. First step, would be to download gypsy.zip from my running copy of Gypsy now at http://204.188.161.66/gypsy.zip However, that IP will change over time; it is dynamic. Please email me for current ip address. TIA, doc | 2. Re: Need help testing GypsyProxy #702 Posted by: 2002-12-09 10:28:31 | My IP is now 204.188.170.78 and this may be in effect for some days ... hopefully. Anyway, you can log on to port 6667 to chat or DL gypsyproxy as described in my previous post. Also, if you are running GypsyProxy, let me know and we can do some tests. TIA, doc | 3. Re: Need help testing GypsyProxy #774 Posted by: 2003-02-06 15:39:36 | Thanks, bbb! Get a copy and email me so we can set up some tests. Also you can compile the chat client I wrote (improvement of Mr. Yu's) and check in to talk about testing or whatever with my server. For the near future my ip address is always on the angelfire site. Just view source and fine "/2" and bingo, that is my ip address. As you may know, when a chat client logs on, a "phone ring" sound occurs. Thanks again, doc | 6.
