Hello,
I have a problem with reginald rexx with RXXMATH.cmd (long precision arithmetic). If i write
on console 'rxxmath40 sqrt 2' than I have a Error-Window: in this window is standing:
 "String oe symbol expected after SIGNAL keyword; found 'SYNT'"

Hello Walter, welcome.

Have you considered using the REXXMATH dll that Jeff provides ?  
http://home.roadrunner.com/~jgglatt/rexx/win32/rxusrw32.htm

All you need then is:

Library rexxmath
Say sqrt(2)
