Hi,

I am new for using directx9, but I need it for my application, does anyone know when there's a tutorial to use it with dev-cpp. Most of them are compatible with directx8. I just need a small sample to start.

Hi!
I personally don't do a lot game programming and so far have only used OpenGL, but maybe have a look at

http://nehe.gamedev.net/

The last link is about OpenGL. Problem is that normally you get the examples for MS VC++ or .NET, but it shouldn't be a problem to convert them to Dev-C++ projects.
