I have tried to make heads or tails of the example for printing but I don't really understand it.

I would simple like to print some text from a string to the printer.  Can anybody tell me how.

Try wxHtmlEasyPrinting, very cool! Really easy for text only printing! For images, I save them in a temporary directory then link from html, maybe there's better way.

Thanks for the tip about wxHtmlEasyPriniting.  In the future I would like to use the other print functions.  If anyone would like to explain the other function a little bit, I would be grateful.
