1. redirecting cout to a wxTextCtrl that really works?

Hi guys

I tried all the suggestions mentioned in the help documentation
but so far I haven't been able to really get a working redirection
of std::cout to a wxTextCtrl.
I guess I'm not usig the correctly compiled wxWidgets library.
For example the one shipped with wxDevCpp doesn't work.

Any help on my issue?
