Message1. Sending files via QSocket?

Can this be done?

Basically, I'm trying to make a program with a self-updater, which will download files from a server.

Does it work if I just copy line by line, from files such as .exe, .bmp, etc?
Or is there some other way to do it...

Search this site with   "fdfile"   it's an example of a proprietary file transfer (client and server).

Use the Windows FTP API to upload and download files from a server. Or the URLDownloadToFile API for downloading. That would be the 2 easiest ways... ( Allen at http://albeco.cjb.net/ )
