I am new to cross-development programming who is in search of a tool that will help me step thru my wxWindows code in LINUX. I am using a took provided by RedHat called KDevelop. Can anyone provide directions on how to use this tool in order to step thru the code? And/Or does anyone use a better tool to step thru the code?
Hi! Not sure what you mean with "step through the code". Do you mean a debugger or an IDE? For a debugger I think DDD (data display debugger) is quite a good one. Maybe it came with your linux distrib. For an IDE I would suggest Anjuta (http://www.anjuta.org). Last time I checked it's worked great and even had a wxWindows project template.
