I've got a problem with debug and release versions. I use VC++, and when I am trying to make debug-version I got the boath libs MSVCRT and MSVCRTD. It coase some trubles in my prog. Haw can I tell: I wanna only debug-version. By the way, I descovered that I have only d-versions of all libs from wxwidgets in C:\Programme\wxwindows-2.4.2\lib. Should it be like this?! I've installed it from the officioal site... It is also a reason, why I can not compile the release version of samples.
Thanks! | 2. Re: debug/release #4485 Posted by: upCASE 2004-06-16 19:25:15 | Hi! To get the release version of the wxWidgets lib open the project file and set the build configuration to release or unicode release. Rebuild the lib. "MSVCRT and MSVCRTD. It coase some trubles in my prog." What trouble? There should be a release and debug version, otherwise debugging wouldn't make much sense.

Re: debug/release #4486 Posted by: 2004-06-16 20:03:14 | so, I use two different tool for my prog: wxwidgets and another one. this another one has very clear defference between Debug and Realise. So it cool MSVCRTD. But COMDLG32 und WSOCK32 (wich I need for wxWidgets) coll MSVCRT. Becoase of it I get run-time-error, what stopps my prog. The Code I've written should be really ok.
sorry, I didn't get it, how I should build (or exactly what) wxWidgets to get wxmsw.lib istea of wxmswd.lib etc. ? | 4. Re: debug/release #4494 Posted by: upCASE 2004-06-17 00:04:29 | Hi! Setting the configuration of the lib is essentially the same as configuring any other project. Open the .dsw file, use "set active configuration" and compile. It should give you a list with 9 different configs.
