1. I don't understand why the bitmap are so different

I have create a .bmp whith PAINT. And i would like tp use it in my WxWidget software. But in my application the .bmp does not look like .bmp in paint !
why and how to correct this problem ?

i use Devpack 2.5.1 and Devcpp with 3.3.1 compiler

i haven?t used bitmaps so far

but xpm images worked always fine for me

What are the differences? What kind of Bitmap was it?

the colors are différent.

Have you tried with different color depth (16/256/24bit)? Does that make a change?
