1. Style Differences In Samples

I've noticed that under XP, the samples that come with wxWidgets 2.5.1. assume the softer, rounded XP style buttons. When I use wxButton in my own applications however, they still appear as the course and pointy-cornered buttons ala Win 98.

Has anyone else noticed this difference? Or have any ideas on how to get my wxButtons, to look the same style as the ones in the samples?
