1. cannot find -lmysql

Hi All, first i should tell you that im a completely noob at this and im trying to find out how to compile a program, i dont even know where to post this but im becoming crazy, im using Dev-C++ 4.9.9.0, and i thought the problem was with my program, but then i realized that the error was from the Dev-Cpp directory...

-L"D:/Programs/Dev-Cpp/lib" -L"../dep/lib" -lws2_32 -lwinmm -lmysql

D:\Programs\Dev-Cpp\Bin\..\lib\gcc-lib\mingw32\3.3.1\..\..\..\..\mingw32\bin\ld.exe: cannot find -lmysql

make.exe: *** [../bin/MyProgram.exe] Error 1

Execution terminated

plz help me out with this
