1. selectiing menu item after adding via guiaddmenu

I got items added to the menu using guiaddmenu (as per the example munuadd.rex)
Now I can't figure out how to get the new item to select.

Any suggestions?

You handle it the same way you do any menu item. You add a subroutine whose name is the ID you've given to the menu item. Of course, you just do that manually, because since you haven't added the menu item with RPC's menu editor, RPC's menu editor can't automatically insert that function label for you.

Jeff,
I tried that technique but what I'm trying to do is add members from a
subdirectory and I won't know what they are before hand.

I was hopeing for another technique. Right now the user selects a general
menu item and then I display the files in a list box.

Having them in the menu is a little cleaner but the list box works.
